Mid-century homes, renovations and new custom builds
The Wendover-Sedgewood area sits on Charlotte's east side, around Wendover and Randolph Roads near Cotswold and not far from SouthPark. It's an established part of the city with mature trees and generous lots, and its housing tells the story of several eras at once: original mid-century brick ranches and Cape Cods, homes that have been renovated and expanded, and a steady stream of new custom houses built where older homes once stood. A few townhome and condo communities add lower-maintenance options.
One neighborhood, very different listings
Because the housing stock is so mixed, there isn't one template for a shoot here. An original ranch is about honest light, clean rooms and the lot, since buyers in this area are often weighing the yard, the trees and the home's potential as much as its finishes. A renovated home needs the updated kitchen, the opened-up living space and any addition shown clearly enough that buyers understand what's new. A new custom build calls for the full treatment: high-end finishes, tall ceilings, the primary suite and outdoor living, photographed with straight lines and accurate color.
Lots and trees from above
Larger, tree-filled lots are a big part of the appeal on this side of town, and they're hard to capture from the street. Drone photos, included with every package, show the size and shape of the lot, the backyard, the pool or patio and the green setting around the house. All drone flights are subject to airspace authorization. On the ground, exterior angles are chosen to keep the facade clear of heavy shade and branches.
Picking a package
For a renovated home or a mid-sized listing, Signature (from $649) adds a detailed 2D floor plan with room measurements that makes an expanded or reconfigured layout easy to follow, plus a social reel. New construction and larger custom homes usually call for Luxury (from $1,295), with drone video, a cinematic listing video, a 3D tour + floor plan and 3 virtual twilights. An original ranch or a smaller townhome can list well with Essentials (from $349), which includes HDR photos, drone photos and a basic floor plan.
A floor plan or 3D tour is also available on its own at checkout. Wendover-Sedgewood addresses are within Charlotte, so there's no trip fee.
